Minnamurra River

Students investigate the Minnamurra River’s natural systems by observing the Minnamurra River by canoe, and conducting fieldwork on the sand spit.

Geographical Investigation

Jervis Bay

Students examine the Jervis Bay region as a case study to support their own geographical investigation, deepening their understanding of how places and environments can be effectively managed. *

* This overnight program is offered in collaboration with IEEC's S6 Geography Community of Schools, with dates negotiated to suit participating schools - typically held in early Term 2 each year.

Ecosystem Investigation - Subtropical rainforest

Students conduct hands-on fieldwork in the Illawarra subtropical rainforest to investigate biodiversity, succession, and resilience, including surveys, and a Red Cedar recovery study.
